The Sale Volume of Global Luxury Consumption In 2009 Is Expected To Drop By 80%
As reported by BuyReplicaLuxury.com, according to the amended data published by consulting firm Bain & Co, the global sale volume of luxury goods like clothes, jewelries and leather goods is likely to drop by 8% to 227 billion dollars. This drop range is smaller than predicted before.
Bain & Co. has predicted in a report in April that the global sale volume of luxuries this year would drop by 10% and that of the first half would drop by 20% the utmost when the second half would keep stable.
Claudia D’Arpizio, retail consultant of Bain & Co. in Milan claimed that, “We predict the discounts and price cut of luxuries will decline, at present there are more signs showing that consumers are regaining confidence.”
